Sarah grew up in Andover, Minn., and recently completed her master’s degree in public affairs from the Humphrey School at the University of Minnesota. She has spent more than 15 years working with youth in crisis. Sarah coordinates the five Safe Harbor pilot protocol teams in Minnesota that are working to develop their local systems’ response to sexually exploited and/or trafficked youth. She also provides support and technical assistance to individuals and agencies focusing on human trafficking and exploitation throughout the state.
Sarah’s passion lies in positive youth development, with a focus on improving systems’ responses to youth who have experienced trauma. Although Sarah currently has no pets, her colleagues at MNCASA are leading her to consider adopting a dog.
