Madison joined MNCASA in 2019 as the Minnesota SART Program Coordinator. At the Sexual Violence Justice Institute, Madison provides support to sexual assault response teams (SARTs and SMARTs) in Minnesota. Her responsibilities include facilitation of technical assistance calls, planning team coordinator retreats, and delivery of in-person and online trainings. She also develops tools and resources to guide the development of multidisciplinary responses to sexual violence.
Madison began working in the anti-violence movement in 2013 while earning her bachelor’s degree from North Dakota State University. After graduating, she completed her master’s degree in public health at the University of Minnesota where she focused on sexual health and evaluation of interperfessional educational programs.
Madison came to Minnesota from her family ranch in South Dakota where she rode horses, raised cattle, and gardened. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her dog Ivan, riding motorcycle, and running.
