The Minnesota Coalition Against Sexual Assault (MNCASA) is collaborating with the National Judicial Education Program (NJEP) of Legal Momentum and local partners to develop Minnesota-specific material for NJEP’s free web course for judges and other criminal justice system professionals entitled "Intimate Partner Sexual Abuse: Adjudicating this Hidden Dimension of Domestic Violence" (open and available to all who register at www.njep-ipsacourse.org).

This readily-accessible information covers the common legal, social science, medical and cultural issues presented by sexual violence, with a particular focus on cases involving intimate partner sexual abuse. It is anticipated that the Minnesota-specific content in the web course will not only assist judges and court systems personnel but also attorneys, law enforcement, victim services advocates and others involved in these often difficult cases.

This information should be available for use by late 2010.
