Sexual Assault Awareness Month April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month!! April is a month filled with activities, awareness raising and celebration of the work we do. There are many activities happening in Minnesota this April. MNCASA holds an awareness raising event called AWARE in early April each year at the MNCASA office (The Kelly Inn, 161 St Anthony Ave, 10th Floor, Suite 1001). We also host a silent auction and a raffle. The event is meant to raise awareness of MNCASA and its programs, as well as the issue of sexual assault. The work done by sexual assault advocates and other professionals working in the field or as allies is important all year long. But April is our month to make our voices heard and honor survivors, advocates and allies!
