Public Policy A unique role of the sexual assault coalition is to assist in changing policies to ensure that victims receive the justice they deserve. MNCASA accomplishes this goal by educating policy makers on the issue of sexual violence, and by spearheading policy initiatives that are victim-centered. MNCASA develops its public policy efforts based on information from a variety of sources including but not limited to: program experience with cases, prosecutors experience with cases, community groundswell, changes in approaches to sexual violence, and to promote primary prevention measures.
