Cecilia Miller, OJP Grants Director - Cecilia will be with us to gather input for the funding plan for the new federal stream Sexual Assault Services Program (SASP).
Lunch and Networking *Lunch will be provided by MNCASA
SVJI Forensic Compliance Project - Sara Thome, MNCASA Project Attorney will be leading a discussion for member programs to inform us how this program could help you as a member program and have input on the model policies being considered for statewide use.
Policy Update - MNCASA Staff Attorney, Caroline Palmer will be informing you of MNCASA's legislative work so far in 2010.

Overview of Protocol Development and Renewing Interagency Agreements Webinar, Noon - 1:30 pm CST
This is the third in a series of four webinars focusing on the 8 Step Protocol Development Cycle. The purpose of this stage of the Protocol Development Cycle is to design and develop the desired multidisciplinary, victim-centered response to sexual assault victim/survivors. During this stage, the team:
" reviews lessons learned from the community needs assessment;
" determines their process for writing protocol or integrating existing protocol;
" designs protocols to improve outcomes for victims and the criminal justice system; and
" renews interagency agreements and trains on protocol use.
This webinar will share examples from existing teams, provide resources, and discuss creative strategies for overcoming pitfalls common to the protocol development process.

Youth Lobby Day
MNCASA is supporting the Coalition for Responsible Sex Ed and their Youth Lobby Day. This FREE event for youth will focus on being an effective advocate in the legislative process and issues surrounding responsible sex ed and minors' access to confidential care in Minnesota. Minnesota youth will gather at the Capitol to send a message to legislators about the urgent need for a sex ed statute in Minnesota.
